Performance Theater

We had our "performance theater" on Friday. All of the classes did really well, but Moose class (Myriam's KG5) ended up winning. I got a video of Arctic Fox (Jay's class) and Seal (my class) singing their songs. We also announced the winners of the monthly coloring contest. Two of my kids won the "bronze medal."

Buddhist Temple

This is a temple that I pass by when I walk (although lately I've been taking the bus or a cab) to work. I was finally able to explore the inside of it this weekend.

Springtime!

We are finally experiencing spring weather here! I took some pictures this past week during my walk to work. I also discovered some hiking trails above the park that I pass by on the way.

Clubbing Experience in Seoul

Myriam, Kathryn, Dan, Jay, Steven, and I went out to celebrate Myriam's birthday. We took the bus to Seoul, and the bus driver drove way too fast. Thankfully we all made it there safely! I was a bit disappointed in the two dance clubs we ended up in; there were a lot of foreigners in both, they were playing mostly '90s hip-hop/rap, and of course they were very smokey. But, at least I got some dancing in! Believe it or not, I am kind of over the "going out" stage. I think it is something I will do only a handful of times in the year that I'm here (like once every birthday--uh-oh, Dan's is coming up in a few days). Maybe next time Jay and I can convince the group to go to a Salsa Club...
